Russ has been a DJ beginning in college at the age of 19. He started at KNAU the campus station at Northern Arizona University. Then worked on KEOS - Flagstaff, Arizona, 99ZZX - Albuquerque, New Mexico, KMLE - Phoenix, Arizona and KNIX - Phoenix, Arizona.
